March is Women's History Month. It was established in 1987 in the U.S to honor women's contributions to history, culture, and society. We get the chance to reflect on the past and celebrate the women who fought the good fight for equality of opportunity. It's also a time to remind ourselves of our potential to become the best versions of ourselves in all spheres of society. You must know that you are brave and capable of carrying out every purpose you set for yourself and worthy of achieving anything you aspire to become.
As a woman-owned designer swimwear label, Bikini Beach Australia wants to celebrate and recognize the contributions women have made to pave the way for a more equitable society-- one that supports the physical and emotional well-being of women.

That's why we've fallen in love with the company We Are Beautiful Inc-- a non-profit organization supporting young girls’ development through mentorship and educational seminars. Their mission is to help empower and equip young girls all over the world with the necessary tools to navigate issues such as low self-esteem, eating disorders, bullying, suicide, and relationships. And in celebration of Woman's History Month as well as We Are Beautiful Inc's wonderful contribution to supporting girls' well-being, we are donating 20% of all of Bikini Beach Australia's profits this month to this company.
Raina Brown, the founder of We are Beautiful Inc, launched her organization at the young age of 13. Raina was once a victim of bullying at school and suffered from low self-esteem herself. One day she realized that she was not alone and that many girls were suffering from low self-confidence and other issues, such as eating disorders. Raina then knew she wanted to do something about it and help those who suffered from different everyday life issues.  She was driven to help improve the lives of girls in her community through empowerment and education.
Although she was a girl who struggled with many insecurities growing up, she's managed to pave her path, fighting adversity and helping young girls learn to believe in themselves.  She's been able to succeed in her business, where she’s also focusing on providing mental health, credit counseling, etiquette, and entrepreneurship classes.
We are happy to give back to "We Are Beautiful Inc" by donating 20% of our revenue this month, as we love supporting young women's well-being and believe every girl and woman deserves to feel loved, empowered, and beautiful-- because we all are.
We wish to inspire one another to embrace our true beauty. We want to instill confidence by creating swimwear pieces suitable for all shapes and sizes, where women can feel beautiful in all aspects of their swimwear lifestyle.
