Bikini Beach Aus announces their Partnership with Flying Solo New York
Both an in store designer shopping experience & Private Industry Showroom

In May of 2021, Bikini Beach partnered with Flying Solo New York to showcase their latest summer collection at the Broadway designer boutique; continuing to have their designs in the unique shopping space for through the summer season.
Flying Solo New York is an innovative fashion brand. An organization that represents fashion designers, aiming to revolutionize the industry by putting designers in control of their retail spaces and runway shows. This concept provides a partnership to the designers by providing publicity, space, showrooms, retail platform and online promotion.
Flying Solo describes their goal as “Allowing independent designers from around the world to come together to bring their collections directly to you. Owned and operated by the designers themselves; we aim to transform fashion culture through revolutionary retail experience and a personal collection.”
Flying Solo also housed Bikini Beach in their showroom space adjacent to the retail store in Manhattan. The showroom space allows designers to be pulled for media, press, celebrities and other specialty experiences while having the convenience of being next to the shopping sales floor. The showroom is called “The Copper Room Showroom” and it’s attached at the back entrance of the Flying Solo store. Bikini Beach has their designs displayed in Manhattan at The Copper Room space and is often pulled for magazine features, buyer viewings, stylists and many other placements.
The showroom is a great experience, as it allows potential collaborators and store buyers to see the collections in a different perspective than just on the shop floor itself. The Copper Room is a 5000 sq ft room, at 382 W Broadway in New York City. It is Flying Solo’s more “private” experience; a location for press, VIPs, celebrity appointments and stylist pulls.
The lower level of said building also serves as a co-working space for Flying Solo designers to fully utilize the space and work surrounded by likeminded individuals. This area is open to all Flying Solo designers and allows a community between the "owners" of the design platform space.
The location of Flying Solo and The Copper Room showroom is perfectly placed. Its neighboring boutiques are the major industry labels such as Gucci, Moschino, Chanel, Louis Vuitton, Dior and many other key luxury brands.
This July, Bikini Beach had the pleasure of hosting a designer meet and greet at the Flying Solo location to highlight their latest collection after Miami Swim Week. Bikini Beach had two featured models from their fashion events in South Beach along with Hot Sauce Agency, the Flying Solo Managerial team, The Copper Room Showroom exclusive list, press, media, buyers and influencers all present to see their latest designs in action. This was an exclusive party with the options of purchasing product, feeling the garments first hand, and showing the Manhattan community all about Bikini Beach Australia.
BBA’s hosted the “press & shopping” party this past July and is looking forward to many more New York pop up events in 2022! BBA loves NYC and cant wait to highlight their shows, events and latest collections to the media.
